Dear Colleagues, Members of ICEMS, is a sad new the announcement of the death of professor Mikhail Nikolaevic Zhadin, a great scientist, who honoured all of us with his participation to the foundation and to the initiatives of ICEMS. His famous experiment, following the rut of Carl F. Blackman and Abraham Liboff, was the key to understand interactions between weak magnetic fields and Aqueous solutions. Grace to him a new comprehension of water and living matter has been achieved. Mikhail left us on Wed. October 28th and his funeral took place last Friday. On behalf of our independent association of scientists, ICEMS, let us speak to Mikhail the extreme salutation of the latin poet Catullus:

ICEMS MISSION STATEMENT
The International Commission for Electromagnetic Safety (ICEMS) is a non-profit organization that promotes research to protect public health from electromagnetic fields and develops the scientific basis and strategies for assessment, prevention, management and communication of risk, based on the precautionary principle
The Precautionary Principle
The Precautionary Principle states, when there are indications of possible adverse effects, though they remain uncertain, the risks from doing nothing may be far greater than the risks of taking action to control these exposures. The Precautionary Principle shifts the burden of proof from those suspecting a risk to those who discount it.
Our Resolutions
The Venice Resolution, initiated June 6, 2008, follows the Benevento Resolution, first issued September 19, 2006. These Resolutions are signed by scientists, engineers and medical doctors who have been doing EMF research and working internationally on electromagnetic fields health and safety. The combination of their training, experience and the many contributions they have made in conducting and publishing, represents hundreds of years of expertise and places them at the forefront of knowledge about EMF. These resolutions and information on how those interested in signing the Venice Resolution could apply to do so, may be reviewed by going to RESOLUTION section.
